hey, i'm sarah
I'm 21, born and raised in Portland, Oregon (class of '87 baby). I live in a kinda crappy but cozy basement apartment in the Alberta Arts District with my cat named Kurt (yeah, after Cobain, obviously).
I've been collecting old concert ticket stubs since I was like 16. It started when I found a really beat up 1989 Mudhoney stub at a garage sale and I got totally hooked. Now I hunt for them at thrift stores, flea markets, eBay, and random forums. There's just something about holding a little piece of a show from before I was even born... it feels kinda magical, you know?
When I'm not digging through dusty boxes looking for stubs, I spend my time going to local shows, drinking way too much bad diner coffee, thrifting, and listening to records way too loud. My favorite bands right now are Siouxsie & the Banshees, Pixies, Bikini Kill, The Cure, and pretty much anything grunge or riot grrrl.
I'm kinda shy in real life but I love talking to other people who collect weird shit or just miss the old music scene. So if you have any old tickets lying around or you just wanna rant about how good music used to be... hit me up in the guestbook.
